What is the Story of the Seed?
Our year-long project, The Story of the Seed, has consisted of multiple labs teaching us basic and complex concepts in the 9th grade curriculum for Honors Biology by having us growing a seedling into a thriving plant. So far, throughout this year we have learned how this project relates to 4 units. We started by retrieving the beginning spore and placing it on a paper towel. We chose to water our plants with water, salt water, sugar water, and Arizona. After watering it with the different liquids and keeping it in a plastic bag for a few days, we then transfered them into their pots. They continued to prosper further and further at a steady rate. When the time came, we transfered them to an outdoor garden that is accessible to our class for watering. Unfortunately, our plants could not live to see the breach of light shining before them, so we have been monitoring other groups' plants. I hope our blog takes you into the most majestic process of life a Snowball Cauliflower can offer.
