Leah Poapst's Seed Story
Leah affirms that she has learned how much plants and humans help each other out. For example, photosynthesis could not occur as efficiently without both us humans and plants exchanging gasses. We provide it with necessary carbon dioxide and then the plant trades our CO2 with the oxygen that we vitally need. Leah enjoyed watching seedlings grow into harvestable plants and recognized how quickly that happened. Watching our Arizona-fed plant grow miraculously despite mold issues, grossed her out and made her do a double take. Overall she can't wait to see what they will look like next semester and what more we do with them.
